iPhone16 uses AI-based chip made by ARM
The new iPhone 16 may be unveiled next Monday. The smartphone will use the A18 chip, which is built using SoftBank's proprietary ARM V9 chip design. This new technology will be used to add generative artificial intelligence-AI based features to the iPhone. News Financial Times.
According to the news, Apple has started using V9 technology in iPhone. ARM also has a multi-year license agreement with Apple.
